Generally speaking, you probably wouldn't be allowed (unless you were attending as part of a promotion for GAP).
Speaking from experience, it probably isn't a good idea anyway unless you are very familiar with the dog and know how to handle it. Even dogs that have been retired for several
years will still get very worked up (and difficult to handle) by the sound of the lure.
If your dog someone got away from you (and got to the track), you could expect a fair amount of trouble from the stewards
