Good Friday Appeal Fundraiser
 

Members of the forum:

I thought we could help raise some money for the good friday appeal, have fun, and maybe even get the forum a mention on TV in some form.

How it will work: We get as many people from the forum as we can to put in $10 and the bets are placed however everyone wants to with their own $10.
You just place your own $10 bet at the TAB or with an online account and post on the forum what your putting it on, eg: $10 WIN on... or a quaddie with...
Then if you are successful deposit winnings through Morgan and he can do the donation to the appeal under the forums name (if thats ok with him!)
If you don't actually place the bet then just deposit the divvy to Morgan anyhow! But better to place the bet beforehand, especially if your having a quaddie or tri!

People could put the $ on whatever they want, just nothing at too short odds, just as long as its done at least a couple of days before good Friday so funds can be with Morgan and ready to go by the actual day.

By the way, even if your not a punter just chuck somehting in anyway, it wont be gambled if you dont want it to.

Good idea, i think the best way to do it would be to put it on the nose on one race, betting on many races will be time consuming and hard to keep track of.

Or all donations combined 90% on the nose 10% trifecta?

But on 1 race everyone who donates cant really have it on what they want. I say we have like have 2 set days within the next couple of weeks, this Saturday being the first, hopefully everyone can get $10 on something on Saturday and just deposit winnings to Morgan. If not then during the week (after this Saturday but before good Friday!)

Coz all on 1 race your putting all your eggs in 1 basket.

If everyone interested posts the horse and amount of what they are betting on we can calculate winnings at the end :)

Yes. So just post what your putting your $10 on exactly here and Morgan will organize bank details etc at a later date.

By the way it can of course be more than $10 if you wish!

Also you could put the $10 on even tomorrow if you liked. (I know mine will be on next Sat.) If we can get enough people.

I reckon at least 4 of us and it goes ahead. ($40 to bet.)

Well then so far its me and Morgan, 2 people... Anyone else??? Cmon guys if we get enough and we go half decent on the punt we'll get a mention on TV! :D
