Best Sire for Flash of Light

wondering what would be the best breeding match for my bitch, any suggestions would be appreciated

Not sure mate but she is a SUPERSTAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being by an imported sire opens things up for you a bit. Either way if only half as good as a broody as what she is on the track you will be in for many more years of fun!!! You must be super proud of her, good luck when you start breeding with her.

Bonnie has been exceptional. Congrats on having such a phenomenal dog, i hop to one day get one just like her - If im lucky enough.

The best thing about her is she has everything you want. Outcross, Speed, Strength, Stamina, Chase. I find its good to pick up their faults and try to correct them.
I know every dog can have an off day but she is faultless in her attributes that she does have. So all there is with Bonnie (IMO) is just to aim for faster (i dunno if thats possible but she has no faults to fix IMO).

Probably put her to a donkey and she will throw.

All of Premier Fantasy's best offspring in Aus all seem to have sobbing sal and/or head honcho. Seen as she has both i find its best to work with something that goes with SS & HH & has also worked with the Irish outcross.

So my conclusion is Bombastic Shiraz, Just The Best, Elite State or Collision

Bombastic Shiraz tops my list on the sires. I love him, i love what he throws, he is just a magnificent sire all round. Love him lol.

Just the Best has worked in Ireland, ie one of my fave dogs Shelbourne Aston. Killoughs Belle, Kinda Easy, Kinda Ready and more.

Elite State, a son of Just the Best, who i do have an opinion of. I plan on putting him over my Hallucinte bitch (Boom Bee). ES seems to throw some great strength into his offspring which i think should be a focus, because there is too much breed for speed in the sport, given Bonnie being strong and outcross, i feel should breed for strength, then use a daughter to keep the speed.

Collision i love for the cross, as Awesome Assassin works great with head honcho and SS. The strength he throws is unreal. This would be one of my fave matings.

Then a couple outside the box - I like Vee Man Vane as i love Solve the Puzzle with her, which also makes me like Goodesy.

The outcross just leaves you open to whatever your heart chooses. Bloodline wise not much to focus on i think as its just so open - so go with ya gut.

thankyou

hi chook,
thanks for your reply, you must have a close link to her by knowing her pet name and not just her racing name.

thanks for the effort you have put into the research as it would of taken some time to do.

the other two owners and myself have had some discussions about this and we all liked either bombastic shiraz or elite state so this report has given us some confidence we are on the right track.

will take a look at some of the others you mentioned and will keep you informed on our eventual choice.

regards,
greg

Greg,

I often try to keep updated on when Bonnies races via Lisa Delbridge. :)
Have followed her during her entire career. Absolutely love her.

Stoked to hear of the sire selections brewing for the girl.

ES is $1,100 til end of yr, i reckon it wont hurt to get a straw on ice for her as BS is for bitches on season only so given the age of both sires if theyre the chosen ones owuldnt hurt to get ES put away and eyes on BS when she comes on.

Just food for thought anyways for ya. I like to find value in sires and ES is definitely that at the moment!
