Breeding Suggestions with Senza Nome

Just seeing what everyones choice is when it comes to stud dogs, for my Bitch Senza Nome.

Westtiger, most people are going to strongly disagree with me but I think picking a stud dog to produce a successful litter is as much a lottery as anything else. However, you can only do your best to pick the one that you think is compatible with the bloodlines and the qualities you are looking for. It is also a bit of fun in trying. Please correct me if I am wrong but I believe Senza Nome is Southern Champ (USA) x Lucky Penna. Lucky Penna is Light of Fire (New Tears x Centrefire) out of Paris Match (Brother Fox x Osti's Shadow). There may, for example, be some members who know of successful litters involving Southern Champ bitches and maybe more than one to the same stud dog. I have lots of stud books but they are very old so I am, for more reasons than one, of no substantial help to you. Have any of Lucky Penna's close female relations bred successfully to particular stud dogs. Good luck. Hopefully other members can provide you with more helpful advice.

Sorry Westtiger and other members for sending two consecutive messages on the same matter but I just looked at the breeding of the stud dog Where's Pedro, a dog that has been getting big 'rapts' recently from various members. On looking at the GRV site, specifically the E-dog form and drilling down on the breeding of Where's Pedro, I can see that there are fairly strong links between his breeding the breeding of Lucky Penna. For example, Paris Match appears in both as do New Tears and Brother Fox. In fact, I think Brother Fox may appear 3 times as he is the sire of Paris Match and is also the sire of Gun Law Osti who is the sire of Brett Lee. There is also a strong link throughout the breeding to the very successful Ted Doss (Cootamundra) breed. You and other members may very shy away from such links but other members would know much better than me.

Hey westtiger, I am breeding soon with my bitch who is due early next year I hope. The reason why im telling you this is because, i have had trouble deciding which stud dog to use next. My Bitch has already had two litters. 1st litter is by Big Daddy Cool already thrown 32 winners so far and 2nd Litter is by hallucinate and not far of racing. Anyway at the end of the day go with what you like. All we can do is maybe help suggest which might be better way to go, but i believe is a bit of luck and if your broodbitch clicks with the stud dog. cheers dougie :)

My money would be on Black Enforcer.

Lucky Penna, Gdata top offspring, most Token Prince, and the rest are from Senzas litter.
So a son of TP thats producing very well, with tremendous chasers (got one myself, not broken in but if a leaf moves, he is killing it!)

Worth a shot i reckon!

Was thinking the same thing, although you could also try a sire with Brett Lee lines such as Wheres Pedro or Hallucinate.

thanks guys for the imput.

I have looked at Wheres Pedro and Hallucinate with the double cross of Paris Match. Senza Nomes sister Texan Beauty has a litter running around at the moment by Pure Octane one called Texan Gem around Angle Park. The other crosses I have looked at are the successful Larkhill Joe over Spiral Nikita cross, which my bitches father Southern Champ, and Spiral Nikita both have the same father in Phantom Flash. So that made me look at Ahane Lad which there is also a double cross of Pat Daltons famous dam line of Wise Plan and Wise Flyer. Also WW Apple Jax, Premier Fantasy and Pacific Mile all have a similar cross.
