Looking for a Trainer and a Dog or Two

Hi all,
Am a keen punter and have decided to get into the owner side of things. Living and working in the Wollongong area, I'm after some info on trainers who kennel the pups (such as what they charge and how they care for them) around Dapto & Nowra.
Whether I enter a syndicate, or purchase outright, will outlay $1000 to $1500. Also, could someone give me a general outline on what goes on from birth to race?

Hey welcome to the forum!

As you are new to the sport i would suggest buying into a syndicate to start off, you would be best to buy a share in a pup which will allow you to lear the in's and out's of the industry. It also reduces your initial outlay.

Some syndication providers are

Team Bundy Greyhound Syndicates
www.greyhoundsyndications.com
Wahoo Racing Syndicates greyhounds breeding pups for sale
WinningGlory Syndications - Home

Sounds good. Will have a captain cook on the websites.
Are the runners of the syndicates on here?

Racing stage

Hey I'm just wondering what happens when the dog reaches racing stage.
Can see most syndicate entry payments cover up to the first race, but what happens after that? Would there be a periodic fee?
Also, are winnings simply split between the syndicate or does the trainer usually take a percentage?
