Five Pups To Grub

REIGNING Queensland greyhound of the year Miss Grub last night whelped five pups to a mating to Elite State. She had two dogs and three bitches for breeders and owners Charlie and Toni Northfield.

John Dart, who shared training of the bitch during her career with his wife Glenda, said all five had already been ordered. "The first couple of pups took a while to be born, but the final three came with a Group 1 rush," Dart joked. "They are late finishers already."

They should all be very smart dogs. Good luck to the owners.

And very expensive!

Wouldn't mind the whole litter to myself though, hehe.
