Lost Confidence

Any tips on regaining a dogs confidence, our dog is fast but as soon as she gets a dog near her she stops. Her trial times are exceptional when she trials alone.

sell it to china and hope for good money

you wont be the first nor the last to get one like this

its kills you as an owner to no your dog is fast but a poofta in a field

best i can suggest is trial it in half fields against slow dogs and hope that works and she regains confidence, but im sad to say once a poofta always a poofta

Does it happen when she is in front or will she just got go under or around em? Did she EVER have any confidence?

Find a slow dog that you know wont fight/get in her way but is simply slow and give her a few hit outs with it. Even give plenty up the straight. Aka find a dog as slow as half of my team lol, i have done that ive got a few slow ones here who are my pilot trainers for pups etc.

Whats her nature like outside of on the track, is she lacking confidence there? If so start the process there. I take all mine to a local school at 3pm when the bell rings, the amount of young kids who come crashing over thinking WOW a racing dog is unreal, certainly gets the spookiness out as they get used to sudden movements as kids are all over the shop.

If she is fast then she is worth the effort - Thats why we in the dogs.

China doesnt pay top dollar for dogs unless they are top range so unless you flog her off for a couple of $k to them, she probably wouldnt be worth the effort trying them unless you are in the know. Ive found this via experience.

Good Luck with her. Hope she gets going for u.

he said the dog is fast just not genuine

china race 2 dog match races perfect for dogs who dont go in fields

he is not going to get rich but if he can make a few thousand off a fast non genuine dog then so be it

cheyenne 10-05-2010 09:56 PM

well why buy a dog thats not genuine as i said the chiness wont buy a dog that are not genuine . trying to sell dog that are not genuine, you will soon end a market. tell the buyer leis and i cant see some of these cases in court money refunded, an court cost an probaley all lawyers cost to. so go ahead an try sell your none genuine dog. that the trouble you think people in australia are dum to. they waking up to un truefull sellers.

What language you speaking because its making very little sense....

Where do you think these non genuine fast dogs are going?? china and nz

Do you understand what a 2 dog match race is? it is 2 dogs, not 8 like we race here

Pretty much from what i understand, china prides is self on speed and will buy fast dogs regardless of there field abilty, thats just how it is...they want fast animals, if this dog fits into the "fast" bracket then why not?

And last of all to quote you

"so go ahead an try sell your none genuine dog. that the trouble you think people in australia are dum to. they waking up to un truefull sellers"

ironic you mention the word dumb....

Im not selling the dog, i dont no the guy i just answered his question that if his dog is fast enough it might be worth looking into

It is not untruthful selling if it is being bought for match racing again 2 dogs i repeat 2 dogs only
