I have just launched a new website
Thoroughbred Horses | Buy & Sell Online
all advertising is Free and I am hoping the racing industry will list their thoroughbreds. I have had emails that some country race people are buying horses off the site but the main visitors are recreational riders looking for show horses/eventers/jumpers off the track. The recreational riders also have preference for TB bloodlines so a pedigree is available on the site and the site also offers a search of any named horse within the pedigree. The site also has a sire feedback section which is open to the public to put comments about progeny of particulars sires so we can build a data base of the heritable traits of the modern thoroughbred stallions.
I hope I can help you all sell some horses!

Just an update. The webiste has been live for almost a year and assisted in the sale of 100's of horses. All ads drop off after 90 days including sold ads. At this stage it is intended that ALL ADVERTISING FOR HORSES AND GEAR remain free and hopefully down the track the website can be funded through Banner Advertising.
