Default Cathay pacific hong kong sprint

Apache Cat was not able to win Sunday's big sprint race in Hong Kong but there was still a very strong Australian flavour in the result. The winner Inspiration was ridden by Darren Beadman, trained by John Moore, son of the legendary George Moore, is by Flying Spur and is out of the Australian mare La Bamba who was bred by Mick Dittman. La Bamba is also the dam of listed winners Provence and Lucky Unicorn. The second horse Green Birdie is a former Australian galloper and of course then there was Apache Cat in 3rd place, only a half length away. I believe the winner of the sprint ever since it has been run, has been an Australian bred galloper. Not a bad effort. Go Australia!
