For the past 2 weeks i have been sending out best bets for saturdays racing i will place my tips here for everyone and keep track of the results.

Best Bets

So far:

Wilander : Win at $2.70
Real Saga : Win at $1.70

Long Shots:

Moatize : 3rd at $2.90
Padgino : 1st at $41.60

I've worked the last two weekends only to find the tip on my email when I got home. Keep up the good work morgan hopefully I'm on the next winner you tip.

I got Real Saga at $2.20 (and that was just prior to the race, of course after Reward For Effort came out) and I was laughing. Sportingbet took some stupid risks today and I reckon they would have paid although I'm not a big gambler, they put up $2.60 for Theseo just prior to the Ranvet (which I also took) and $2.20 for More Joyous (which I didnt.) All of these were a fair bit lower on the tote, not that I'm complaining!

The bookies did risk quite a few fav's today and I reckon they got burnt quite a bit, although they did get the allowance my wife gave me this week lol! Not that it was much, but every bit helps for the poor old losing bookie. No new mercedes for them this week.

Yep bookies would have taken a beating today, it didnt help that there where a few major scratchings.

I didnt back many yesterday as i put most of my cash on real saga for the slipper before he raced at $6.50.

Only real upset i thought was whobegotyou, hasnt been that great this campaign IMO

Nah I reckon Whobe is almost peaking, its just that he hasnt got out to what I think is his preferred distance (2000m) yet. The problem is that at the top of the straight, due to his racing style, he gives so many other good gallopers a big head start.
