I'm an odds on favourite punter. (Greyhounds)

And usually a place punter. (Trots) The TOTE ? Sports Betting Online, Sportsbet, Netbet, Wagering, Bet Online fantastic guide for the trots because once they string a few placings together they continue to hold there form.

Each way, Daily Doulble punter. (Gallops)

I try and stick to backing horses who race up on the pace, whilst seeing your horse come with a withering run from the back of the field is great, they are few and far between. It takes a good horse to unwind sectionals to come from last, or a fast pace, some luck, a well time ride and a fair track, normally a combination of both.

Thats not to say i dont back swoopers, especially if its a swoopers track but as a general rule i like to back horses who race close to the speed. Do yourself a favour and keep a record of where your winners sit in the run, reckon you will find a lot land in the first half of the field.

I also dont like betting in many of the big races.

I would have to agree, you want to back horses who just sit of the speed in 4th, 5th coming around the turn, although at MV i dont mind backing a front runner.

Need to be close to the leader to be in it unless your horse has a massive turn of speed although your always going to have races when back runners find trouble. I dont like to bet and hope the horse i backed will have luck to get through the field after the turn.

Agreed also on what Bobby said about the big races. Although theres so much excitement around them and everyone wants to be on the winner of them more so than ever, they are the generally the hardest races to find the winners of. Look no further than the Cup. Not just hard finding the winner due to the big field, plenty of other reasons like I said.

When I used to punt on the dogs on a more regular basis, i would bet quinella, exacta, trifectas, first 4's on most races.

SOme days i would take quaddies and doubles

my fav bet is ALL UP BETTING, love it, on the dogs, especially BOXED MULTIS, because we've all done a four race all up and only get 3 in!!!!!!

on the gallops i tend to stick to win/place and bet on a 1x5 stake.

I do play the jackpot quaddies when they come up.
