There are many different ways people make money from racing. Many different staking methods and many different selection systems. Read up on it. Like NMFC said it is my buisness how i stake my bets. If you want you can research practical punting on staking systems that are profitable. Many staking systems on there will give you great long term profits from my selections. You won't win everyday but you will over the longterm. I'm sure you guys have your own way to make money from your own selections.
