Thanks for your comments guys.
Lady was a very beautiful greyhound and she ment the world to me. Unfortunately she came down on the first turn at Nowra and smashed her front leg to a degree that she had to be put to sleep then and there so she would not suffer.
In the following days I really felt shithouse. I was really missing her bad.
As you know I put a lot of work into her and she was comming along nicely. In my opinion she would have developed into a very handy dog.
She is at rest now and I still miss her. You may think I'm stupid, but you didn't know her like I did.
I hope one day I get another dog as good as her.

Mate, only you know the special bond that forms between a dog and its trainer over time. With a hobby trainer its got nothing to do with $$ or winning countless races, its about working with that animal to help it reach its potential and doing it cos you love doing it!! I always feel shithouse when the dreaded day comes to have one put down or if it happens as a result of a accident!!

Well my baby girl Lilly is one pup short. She forced me to take the dog. 7 mths old black dog with just a little white patch on his chest. His name is MALCOM.
I got to know him by letting him out of his kennel to have a piss and giving him his dinner.

Well now I have just one pup left to sell... a gorgeous fiesty fawn bitch (sister to Mal) so if you guys are interested in following Coops' lead, then pm me (sorry I won't be including vanilla slices with the sale) and I may do a great deal on the price!

Well Malcom (The pup I bought off Lilly)comes home from ther rearers tomorrow (Monday) He has turned out to be a great looking dog. I just hope he can run. He'll be 14 months old in January but he is very mature for his age. There is not much puppy left in him. I'll start breaking him in when he's 15/16 mths old.
I have another 2 dogs as well. One is 3 years old and she's racing today at Nowra race 6.
Then there is Snake. A great little dog but he is leggless. Can't run out of sight on a dark night, but he is a trier. He hasn't raced yet but he is ready to go anytime now. I just have to find a track where they race very slow dogs.lol

It's been a little while since I've had a win wiff me dogs, but that win came to me last night at Wentworth Park (7/1/2011) with an all the way win with BELLA TAE DAWN. Paid $13 odd dollars. Me very happy.
