just think guys, if lady can't get the times down to 22.50 over the 400 mtrs, what make you think she can't get the times down to 30.50 for the 535 mtrs, coz thats the distance for the Super maiden race.

Hey Coops I don't even know where the Super Maiden series is being run, still don't, in fact, I had never heard of it until today. However, what I do know is that the principle of what Poizun is talking about makes sense, that is, just as a general observation. Good luck with Lady, we want to see Lady knock HMT off the throne as best bitch in the litter (I'm sure Nick won't mind). I have made an assumption that Philbar is a dog, haven't got a clue but can't be bothered checking, I'm just giving the current title to HMT (for the time being).

I am happy to see either have the title at any given time as long as they are both going extra well BUT what I am particularly looking forward to is the "trash talk" that should go on in the lead-up to the respective "bouts". Mundine and Green will be completely over-shadowed. Nick, you are going to be out-numbered (Coops, Lily and Morgan) delivering the "trash talk" but somehow I think you are going to be able to hold your own without too much trouble. This could be seen as a back-handed compliment but make no mistake it is a positive compliment, I love a bit of "trash talk", well maybe not when it is Mundine dishing it out. It is often another one of those cases when I have to leave the room to escape from the embarrassment.

haha in that case ill be the mundine and lets get it on

cause no little country hick trainer ( coops) and his internet love (lily) nor the rookie owner (morgan) have a chance at taking the crown, hmt is the bitch

there is allready adversity in the camp, owner and internet lover are not agreeing with the trainer..pfffft danny green more like mundine vs a chump

just tie 1 hand behind my back so the crowd atleast gets a quick thrill for there entry price because it will still be over in round 1, tko win to "how many times"

you happy with that INVISIBLEMAN

If she isn't fast enough to be able to win any of the maiden races in what would be a slow time then i don't think there is any point in sending her there.

Although if she would be able to win if the race was run in a slow time then id think its worth a shot.

No point sending her there hoping 7 other dogs find trouble.

Sorry Coops but I agree with the others lol it's a big ask of a young maiden just learning to race properly, it takes about 6 months to get her confidence up to where you want her to, without throwing her in a 'dreamer' race ;-) and having had her for only a short preparation, she wouldn't be ready for such a big step up to 535m in 3 weeks.

If I had a very good maiden that could break 22.60 or 31 secs at Richmond, I would give it a go in a rich maiden event but for anything less than the times run, I would suggest you aim for the country races or at least the lower class TAB tracks.
It can shatter a pup's confidence if thrown into a classy maiden field, you can be sure that these top trainers would have trialed their pups at least 10 times, half in full field trials, before they'd put their pups in a big race.

C'mon Coops, give Morgan an easy maiden win ;-) and Lady will love you all the more for the confidence boost.

xxx lol

She'll be right on the night.LOL
I'm not going to race her on country tracks. Only the best for Lady.

I'm hoping she'll do alright in that race coz I'm looking at Easter cup maiden at wenty too.
If your not in it you can't win it.

Her main target will be the Golden Easter Egg.
