Default Big Daddy Cool X Kimba's Spirit

Hi all...

Have a beautiful broodbitch here call Jade, known as Kimba's Spirit.
She has been inseminated to the sire Big Daddy Cool last week and i thought i would post a thread on her pregnancy.

Quick run down on Jade. She was my first greyhound and also would have been classed as the reject of the litter. 5 bouncy mental cases and one sad case sitting in the corner. Sad case was the one for me as she was just beautiful.

Jade turned out to be more than handy making a few finals around the state making me a very proud mum!

Injury forced her career to be questioned, but she came back to make herself a last start BOD winner before she was forced to retire yet again.

Since then she had had 2 litters, Nov 06 Big Daddy Cool March 08 Hallucinate.
Her first litter produced 6 beautiful pups who have excelled:
Gibbo's Girl: 6 starts 4 wins (include 20.74 Nowra, 30.12 Dapto) Group 3 finalist
Freckles: 8 starts 3 wins (20.84 Nowra 30.26 Dapto) Group 3 finalist
Kamikaze Spirit: 4 starts 1 second (2 x 4ths and one 7th where he injured hamstring. Won Richmond Qualie first up) in Group 3 Puppy Classic tomorrow
Harbour Front: 1 start 1 third (Won Nowra Qualie first up)
Cool Harlequin: 1 start 1 unpl (Scratched from Group 3 Semi Final)
Making Memories: 1 start 1 unpl (Scratched from Group 3 Semi Final)

Absolutely rapt in litter number 1 with 5 runners competing for Group 3 glory.
Hence why we have gone back to BDC. Shame he will not have many more litters due to his infertility.

Fingers crossed she has a big litter but i wanted to take this chance to show others the stages through the pregnancy.

So here is Jadeo Wadeo, Day before she left for her insemination at 30kg

Will take Weekly photos to show how big she gets before she pops.
Jade is due on the 9th December but will be booked in for a cesarean. Am so excited looking forward to puppies again!!

Hey sounds like the first litter has produced some very smart runners, lets hope that her second litter is the same.

How do the pups from Hallucinate look?

I kept 1 (of the 2) Hallucinates, A little black bitch called Amy.

Is 7 months old and looks an absolute treat. We half own her with some awesome mates of ours (who half own Making Memories with us too) and they visit her quite often and are amazed with how big she is. Rearer says when he lets her loose in the acreage all she does is run run run run run dive into the dam then run run run run run.
I have big hopes for her.

This is Amy @ 3 months old:

Amy @ 6 months old:

Amy @ 6 months with her 9 month old pal who i call patch

Trainer of Gibbo's Girl and Freckles think theyll both win plenty in the city so i am sitting back praying!

Love my Jadeo Wadeo and she has proven to be much fun over the years, as a beautiful puppy, a good race dog, a good mum and an even better couch potato!

Anytime

The litter is going sensational now 24 starts 10 wins and a few minors. 3 Group 3 finalists 2 Group 3 Semi Finalists and 1 little man who made a Maiden Final but had to be scratched as his kennel mate came on season and all he wanted to do was the naughty lol.

I am not using this as bragging but just total excitement. I chose the mum, i trained the mum for a small amount of her career, bred the litter, whelped em, reared em only til 6 months old, and now to see what those bum biting rat bags have become. Its teary!

Its worth bragging about!

Should have kept them

Seems like a great litter and will continue to win many more races.
