Hello all i have just started with greyhound training and am trying to buy a bitch to race or breed some pups with i dont know yet but i have no where near enough money to put towards it. I know this is strange and all but i was just wondering if anyone would donate a dollar or 2 towards it. I know this sounds weird and even now while im writing it i think its stupid but i thought i would atleast ask. A donation of a dollar would be great if anyone can help me out if i could get a couple hundred people do that i would be getting close to buying one. Not that im expecting that many people at all. Anyway if anyone could help me it would be hugely unbelievably appreciated. I would give you updates on the dog if you want and as soon as she starts making money i would refund peoples donation, i just need some help getting started. Thanks for your time. dude go dance on a corner and play the harmonica or get a job like the rest of us...if you cant afford it now, how will you afford to feed it? get it checked? vet bills? paper work? petrol to travel? trials? vitamins and lotions?

I have just purchased my first investment property, all i need is 1200 people to donate $1 per month to make up the short fall of money the bank needs in monthly repayments. For your generosity i will keep you updated every 3 months with the rise in capital value of my property purchase and once i sell the property in 5 years time i will let you all know how much profit i made on it. :) Thanks for your time and generosity. LOL LOL

Aside from all the comments, which is warranted given that the request is an unbelievable one, if Mitch can see past the snickers on here, I would suggest that he has a very serious think about looking after a greyhound, especially a brood, it takes a lot of time and energy and money. It is cruel to look after a greyhound if you have no idea or can't afford to have one.

Best off to get a giveaway slow dog to play with, or give the greyhound to a trainer with more experience.

Not to splash water on your dreams, Mitch, but please have a think before you go rushing out trying to find a greyhound.

Why would anybody with a shred of kindness and commonsense, want to donate to help you get a greyhound, not knowing if you are capable of looking after it with kindness and knowledge?

hey champ i think you need to take a look at what other peole are saying.
look for a give away, that is what i have just done and now i have two dogs the difference is i have the money not the know thats why i am looking for a trainer to help me.

if you approch it form this angle people will be more likly to help.
