syndicate sites are not that bad "IF YOU GO TO ONE WITH A PROVEN RECORD!!"

these 3 have been around awhile and have plenty of happy customers

greyhound syndication
winning glory
wahoo

all have proven track records and have had 100s of winners between them
there are alot of new ones poping up every week and i wouldnt go there, let others make the mistake before you do

team bundy you just had to look at the quality of dog they raced and lines they bought from to realise there where no good...any one who races the majority of bought pups at non tab meetings is doing something very wrong

as for going to a top trainer and going from there??? unless you have a min of 20k to spend, then its pointless. top trainers only take ready made fast dogs, they might be able to put you onto someone to buy a well bred pup from but that means jack shit untill 18months time when the dog is ready to go...if its no good that top trainer isnt going to train it for you.

syndicates are the way to go if your new to the sport, all the work is done for you and you dont have to stress about the issues. buying your first ever dog alone without knowing the ins and outs of the industry can be daunting

look into the 3 syndicates ive suggested, im sure you will find one of them will be what your looking for. you will learn alot from there forums and the way things are run ( cause 100% of new syndicate sites stole ideas and set ups from these 3 and most are ex members of all) then when your happy and you think you have the jist of things grab a few mates and buy your own pup and go from there

NOT ALL SYNDICATES ARE RUN LIKE TEAM BUNDY, THERE IS A BAD EGG IN EVERY GROUP SO DONT JUDGE THE REST ON THE ONE BAD EGG

Thanks for your different views especially nickg on your detailed response. Ive got a young family so I cant see the Boss letting me spend heaps on a dog of my own so I will have a look at the 3 syndicates mentioned.

Thanks again

Mark
