Hopefully it doesnt get in the way of ''Gotta Be Happy''

the field doesn't seem that strong....but we will still need our share of good luck at the first bend, unless he pings of course.

Mmm wasnt a very good start for him and then the was no hope coming back was a good race by number 4. Hopefully he can get some wins in SA.

We actually came away from that run quite happy with it all. He railed nicely and started working his way through the field but just couldn't find a path past the bunch of them. Speaking to the old trainer tonight as well, we found that this dog has ability past the 500's so could even be a good 600m dog in SA.

You have to also remember we bought this dog to goto SA but thought we would leave in for Wenty just in case things would go our way. To be honest its a 4 hour round trip for us to get there so if we didnt think he had a chance we wouldnt have kept him in.

Also have to remember the winner went 30.20 - not many dogs can run that at Wenty Park.

Sometimes you have to look past the result and see the bigger picture.

Atleast there where no injuries and he showed some promising signs fors 500m+ races which is good to see, looking forward to his future races.
