Default Early Speed

any ideas on improving my dogs early speed. she won maiden in wicked time huge engine a little sluggish getting going. open to suggestions

Sorry can't provide any worthwhile advice but if you ever do find a solution to this problem please let me know as I can think of a couple immediately that I would like to apply it to.

depending on age there is very little you can do some do get better but early is something they either have or dont

we havbe a bitch who throws erly pace i mean real early split record early and another who throws stayers we have gotten some to break better but never to match the the proper early paced ones

now there is a differance between early pace and fast trappers fast trapping can be taught but early pace is diffcult at best impossible at best

for me i use my own traps for this so you need someone for help if you dont have one

put the dog in traps and tease with a live one and i mean drive her mad then step back and open the traps stop her at the first bend and do it again and again after a few agos let her have it by walking to the bend with her in traps she will come out i asure you
you may have to do this for two or three weeks once a week but it will improve the trapping but maybe not the early

im sure you can i use a trial track for it or the gallop put anywhere you have a traps would do
