I think ???? Burning Love means that the others, that is, the main chances to beat the respective favourites, will not take them on tonight. Their objectives or more accurately their respective drivers' objectives will be to make sure they qualify for the final, with winning tonight being secondary. For example, if the respective favourite wants to get across to lead, let him do it, "don't risk busting my horses gut keeping him out and risk missing the final".
