Reward For Effort and Manhattan Rain are the main dangers with Phelan Ready an eachway possibility. I don't like the fillies at all.

I think it will be a race between Rostova and Real Saga, both where very impressive last weekend and i heard More Joyous pulled up a bit sore from that race so that could have possibly held her back a bit.

If both are at their best it will be a great race, Box Real Saga, More Joyous, Rostova and Reward for Effort and i think youll have the Tri and the first 4.

That is correct, I think the fillies are weaker overall and even though More Joyous has been beating them easily, she hasn't been running very quick times and she'll will find the boys tougher. Rostova had her chance in the Blue Diamond and failed, also I don't like a 2yo Melbourne filly having her first start the Sydney way of going in a Golden Slipper.

In saying all that, I was very impressed with Marquardt's run on the weekend and I would have her a genuine place chance in the Slipper.

Mate listen I aint on anyones side her and I aint placin anymore fixed odds bets on this race but cmon, she won by 3 lengths and was eased up to the line what more do you want? Having said that I think real Saga will win.

Here is one at odds that just may be a smokey in the race 'Marquardt' at $34.00

I have just seen the barrier draw and Real Saga (13) and More Joyous (12) have drawn wide. This will not affect Real Saga too much and as long as Oliver doesn't get too far back and make the same mistake as he did in the Blue Diamond. I believe only bad luck will beat him.

Reward For Effort (3) and Manhattan Rain (5) have drawn well and must come into serious consideration. I am still yet to be convinced about Rostova (9) after her failure in the Diamond and I don't like the Sires Produce form.

Phelan Ready (18) and Marquardt (16) were my two roughies but they might struggle a bit from out there.
