Well, the lease on Hussonet Rose has come to an end and we have handed her back. It was a great experience. 20 starts for 3 wins, 3 seconds and 6 thirds and over $33k in prizemoney. My next adventure is a small part ownership of a Shaft gelding called Assertive Chef. He had his first barrier trial yesterday and handled it well. Hopefully he will go to the races soon.

Assertive Chef had his first start at Muswellbrook a couple of weeks ago and ran OK to finish 7th. He ran at Muswellbrook again today in the second race. He got absolutely pole-axed when going for a run but picked himself up to run home for third, paying $6.30 for the place.
