Good on you Rob and the rest of the guys. I don't suppose Apollo (refer to his post on this thread) took a share. You don't have to be Einstein to realise that you guys are not going to make your fortune out of this dog but I hope you all have a hell of a lot of fun.

Only a small number of people will make a fortune out of racing:D All you need is a superstar but it doesn't happen for many.

Rob, after 50 years of interest and involvement in the greyhound industry I am very well aware of this. My philosophy is to plan on the "worst case" scenario, that is, as you spend each dollar, never expect to see that dollar again, anything better is a bonus but hopefully the rewards are in having a lot of fun. Seeing your dog go past the post in first place is an enormous thrill which you can reflect upon, from time to time, for the rest of your life. I do anyway.

For the 7 first time owners it was a huge thrill:D
