Have you ever been wanting to own a share in a Greyhound for almost no cost, and at the same time do that little extra?

Well now you can with the 'Team Bundy Charity Greyhound' in the aim to raise funds for the GAP Programs around Australia!

The GAP, or Greyhound Adoption Programs are a vital part of this Industry yet so often neglected, or funds are taken for other causes.
The EI Virus has destroyed Greyhound Funding in Australia.

With the thousands of greyhounds born each year, not all can make it to the track, and with the state of support in greyhound racing, sometimes not all are saved.

These beautiful animals that provide us with so much joy and love whether they race or not - They ALL deserve a home, and its time something is done to try and help the Greyhound Adoption Programs Australia Wide. These workers, most volunteers, work so hard, and dedicate so much time to get these loving animals a home - Everyday they take these dogs out and educate them to be safe in homed so people can be privileged enough to experience the love greyhounds give, as well as giving the dogs a 2nd chance. Sometimes its hard for others to do their part or show their support, so this is our way.

Joining this syndicate is next to no cost at only $50 per share and with 150 shares (50 available) we are 2/3 of the way to purchasing a race dog that will travel and compete to raise funds for the GAP, Australia Wide.

This dog, yet to be purchased, will race to promote the GAP and make people aware of what they do for our industry and how many, many dogs would suffer without them.

TEAM BUNDY SPEAKS TO ROB TESTA
Was a pleasure to spend half an hour talking to Rob Testa, SKY Announcer, Race Caller and avid GAP Supporter about Team Bundy, The GAP Syndicate and his 2 GAP Dogs.

LADY CHARISMA RACES FOR TEAM BUNDY
Monday night, 24th March, Lady Charisma raced at Shepparton and came a very strong second which meant a cheque for $500 is on the way for 10 shares!

Connections pledged $1000 worth of shares if Lady Charisma won, or $500 if 2nd-8th. Just another way the Greyhound Industry is getting behind Team Bundy's GAP Syndicate.

TEAM BUNDY VISITS GAP VICTORIA
Team Bundy whilst in Victoria late in Feburary 2008, took an invite to visit the home of Greyhound Adoption in Victoria in Seymour.

The Program is in the middle of rebuilding their headquarters with more kennels, office and facilities in General and was a really positive feel about the way that they are advancing to help these magical animals.

We had a chance to ask questions and learn more ourselves to just how the program works and how they run things and educate the dogs there to fit into a normal lifestyle after racing.

We were shown through the kennels and afterwards I had to be dragged out by my partner before I took a car full of beautiful happy dogs home with us. Apparently our 2 retiriees at home are enough!

It was also great to hear the after support they give people once they have the Greyhounds home and the Christmas Functions, Walking Clubs and other activities they organise.

It also gave me a chance to explain in full just what exactly the Team Bundy GAP Syndicate is about and how we plan to raise funds and awareness about this wonderful program.

We are so glad we had this opportunity to have a look around and cant wait to go back again soon once everything has been rebuilt. A huge thanks goes out to the staff for their time.

We maybe... just maybe have found what we are looking for!

Team Bundy was notified about 3 x Big Daddy Cool Greyhounds that have just broken in.

Average breakin time where they were broken was 19.50 and all these have gone below the 19 mark. The seller has offered to keep these for another 5 weeks and trial, we will take the best 2 on the basis that these are or close to Vic class once trialled.

They were to be sold straight away but once hearing of the Charity Syndicate and what its all about he has wanted to give me more indication to what they can do.

Will let you know more in a few weeks.... once we have some trial results..... for now I'll keep details as above until more comes to hand!!!
