Then came MALCOM.
coops |
I actually didn't state that one was "faster" than other my statement was that here in Hobart Damek would beat him, for all the reasons I stated before uphill run home Damek is consistently strong, EGS has massive amounts of early speed where he would most likely lead Damek to the home turn, but after that Damek would run away from him, it's endurance nothing else
|
Yes EGS gets a little tired after 450m but when you are in front by 12-15L then it doesn't really matter!!! Remember he has still run 29.40 odd @ Sandown!!!!!!!
Kyleigh, honestly mate if I gave you the choice of a dog who has three track records in Tassie and 50k in prizemoney or one that has earnt so far over $400,000 with a melb cup and a topgun title who would you choose??? Now put aside where they are from and the rest of the bullshit!!! There is NO comparison between the two at the moment, Nick is 100% correct, Damek is virtually solo trialing every race start whilst EGS is running against the cream of racing dogs in Australia and as you can see from his last start he can also do it the hard way. He would SMASH your sectional records at Hobart and yes would most probably get a little tired up the straight but IMO he would be that far out in front he would hang on!! Ms Jones will pick her targets very carefully with EGS and yes whilst I would love to see him come over to Tas and settle this little tiff for us I'm sure he won't as there is some big races on the horizon on the mainland. Lets just hope that Damek comes over for them and we can see what he is really capable of. I've never said that Vic has the best dogs in the land and we are the be all and end all of Greyhound racing in Australia, but I am afraid that Tassie is a long long way off the mark at the moment!!! Your prizemoney is snot, your authorities are a joke!! S.A will be on the up soon as they lured Matt Corby over from Sandown and I'm sure he will get them back on track given time!! You lot in Tassie need to stop feeling sorry for yourself and being so defensive and start thinking outside the square, get on with the job! You need another Chinatown Lad or his sister to plunder some Vic or Sydney $$$ instead of it being the other way around all the time. |
what an absolute crock of shit take your bib and wipe your mouth gippy the shit is overflowing from your mouth pmsl and lmao and the other victorians wonder why we are getting it put on us because aresoles like you give victoria a bad name it would appear the other states are happy with their stakes and where will we be when the pokie money runs out in 2012 possibly up shit creek in a barbwire canoe so be careful lest it comes back to bite you on the arse lol.

Lol every chance we get we go for the Vic stakes, gippy that was a stupid question of course I would u know that, look I hope that he can go over there and prove that he can mix it with them, his brother did it very successfully and he is lengths off him, keep the debate friendly guys at the end of the day they are just dogs, some bloody quick ones but just dogs

There is a dog called GARDAM PRINCE that hails from down south in Mexico and Darren Mac trains him. 12 months ago ppl where putting shit on this dog for winning all his races in the bush and not on the city tracks. mr Macdonald knew what he was doing with this dog and placed him where he could win. There were a few big races that came up and Mr Mac chose the ones that the dog had the best chance of winning. he wasn't worried about all these group one races, he just plodded along winning plenty of others without stressing the dog. The dog now has an incredible winning record to his name and he has won over 250K. Not bad for a dog that has won only a couple of group one races.
The point is why do everyone bag a dog or it's trainer for not putting his/her dog against dogs that could be better only to ruin either one of those dogs spirits by beating it. A great trainer will always try and place his dog where he/she thinks it can win. IMO Mr Mac is one of the best thinking trainers in Australia. And when I grow up, I want to be just like him. coops |

well written coops its a pity other morons dont think like that instead of putting shit on dogs who they think wont beat such and such in victoria victoria is not the be all end all .
|
God, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, who is anyone to tell someone else what to think, or to judge their intelligence for having a different opinion, for gods sake, these are dogs we are talking about not the end if the world, f@ck me reality check, not everyone has to have the same opinion, but that is no need for how ur carrying on now!
|
brett lee would pick them both up and carry them haha
and coops your a suck :P |

who is the u that you are talking about me or nick or gippy dont be frightened to say lol |
I think this has gotten a bit out of hand!! In a sense we (I) have hijacked Kyleigh's thread. In all honesty I'm a huge fan of Damek and I think his connections are obviously super people and are doing a terriffic job with the dog. What started out as a tounge in cheek comment unfortunately sparked this debate. This is a public forum where we can get on and express our opinions and when you start comparing top dogs its always going to end up like this!! I never set out to offend anyone although I do admit throwing some fuel on the fire!!
When it all boils down I have no connection or allegiance to either El Grand Senor or Damek so my opinions are not worth a pinch of goat shit anyway, I'm 100% sure both camps have their animals best interests at heart and good luck to both of them. |
Debate is always good ;) the name calling just wasn't warranted lol

just cock your leg and squirt |
The people in Tassie taught me how to squat and pee. A bit tricky at first, but comes good after a few attempts. I'm still practicing trying to have a crap the Tasmainan way. Got to be carefull with that one. The Tasmainians have got that down to a fine art.

Was a massive chub def would have broken it again, the inside of the track was like mud

would 11 straight at elwick be the most wins on that track by a greyhound i would say if not must be close to it cheers chub
|
Might do some research on that, if not the record it would have to be damn close
|
If he hasn't posted the most straight wins on the track, then tell me when he is going to do so and I'll bring Malcom over there and ruin it for him.
