A big congrats to Pete & June Phillips and Eileen & Ian Thompson and especially Damek for his track record tonight in Hobart 25.85, would loved to have seen how much quicker he would have went if he had of jumped like he normally does, was an awesome run!

Is it true that they knocked back $100,000 for him some time back?? I would love to see him come back over to the mainland and see if he can mix it with the big boys, when you look at the TOPGUN field I can't see how he didn't get a gig in it?? Obviously a super quick animal but lets be honest he is wasting his time staying in Tassie, its their dog I know but it would be a pity to see him win 40-50 races at only 3 tracks, the world would be at his feet over here!! Just my humble opinion!!

he damek has failed to fire imo only because he hasnt had time to settle before racing were he to be taken over and settle then race well it may well be he will measure up over there but i dont think connections are in a hurry to try they are having great times with him in tassy .

they sure are having a ball with him, having a ball with the whole litter in fact..I am just glad to see a tassie bred dog holding the track titles now, I have no doubt they will send him back there eventually, but I dont think they really have any need at the moment there are more feature races coming up in tas that I am sure they would love his name on ;)

yes i hope he wins the hobart thousand. an then come across for the australian cup, a least three weeks before the heats. i 2 hours out of melbourne mr an mrs thomas are welcome to stay if they wont a kennel an bed.

If El Grand Senor comes over for the Thousand then Damek will have his work cut out!!! Senor is blistering over 450m.

the up hill run home at hobart stuffs alot of the mainlanders up tho, they look at times over 460 and think it is slow here but it isnt
