guys i pulled out mid last year after working out there was no chance of enjoying racing in this scenario as it is just money down the drain. i cant believe RNSW took so long to act on this guy, if this is correct, when you look at the damage being done to the racing industry in particular to its owners who are the backbone of the industry. the shame of it is there is a number of horses with good breeding that will never get to show what they could have been.

this guy was never serious about racing he was all about fleecing owners. Cant believe racing authorities let him operate.

nightingale

Yes, I had share in two horses, one still to race (or should I say spelling) 4yo and one had 2 starts finishing at the tail end both times. No show and lost faith and money with the first one. Think twice or more before committing again.

awhile ago he had 3 in a trial not sure where it was they filled the last 3 spots best of the 3 was beaten 17lens, the last one beaten over 30lens, this is a trial where talking about. the report on the 3 of them was "where happy with the trial"

i had a share in sirrah nashira with a few mates, we got no emails no nothing, when the owner finally got through after quiet a few calls he copped a spray telling us we hadnt paid for the last 4 months and we would get no info, it took alan 20mins to work out he had us mixed up " turns out with someone with the same name as the manager of our group" haha yeah rite....we got emails for a couple of months then one of the boys went overseas for a 3 months, in the 2 weeks prior to this he emailed and tried calling alan never got a return never got an email back. his final email to alan pretty much said im going away for a few months ill fix up whats owned when i get back, on return he had an email saying we where kicked out of the horse for non payment, no mention of the missed calls or emails he never replied to

i watched sirrah as her first trial back when the first trainer had her (forget his name) she went super, she came from way back and hit the line very well, first up thompson was on board and she went shin sore and he didnt thrash her. she comes back next prep thinking we should have some fun boy where we wrong she hardly beat a horse home in her next 10 starts, she put in one run where she flew late to run 4th. ok we where told she was a pig of a horse but ahhh when another guy i no suggested she should be moved to maybe a mackay or rockhampton he was told nope its not the owners call she is staying here

bitten once and i doubt ill go back into it again unless its with one who has a good record, not so much with horse but dealling with people

Why would I have egg on my face? I wrote what I thought was correct at the time, read my post (#55) where I said that owners would not wait much longer for winners as none had come from the stable since Sascha had been appointed.

Just for the record I requested that Sirrah be moved to another trainer and be relocated interstate to weaker fields ( weaker than non tab country NSW ) as it was clear she was not going to win when and where she was racing so when this did not happen I sacked the whole operation in January 2011 and moved on.

I still think the theory was a good one but it did not work in practice.

Coach, you said you quit the whole operation. Was that acknowledged by Nightingales or did/are you still receiving invoices? Regards
